FuN on ThE MouNtaIn...LaTe AgaIn!
Brennen's family went camping the first of this month. We went up and went fishing with them but we didn't stay because of work :( Davin absolutely loved it. As for me, I had fun but it's alot different with a 1 year old!! I had to watch him all the time and he was on the go the whole time! Thank GoodNeSs Brennen's little brothers love to play with him and they have no problem entertaining him. If not, I probably would have lost it! The Easter Bunny gave him his own little chair and I think this was one of the first times he actually sat in it. He thought he was somethin special and was cracking us all up! We took his wagon up there and he LOVED it! His uncles pulled him around and around until they were wore out! I am trying to do some digital scrapbooking and I am lovin' smilebox. With the exception of I can't print them the size I want and I don't know how well they will print, I love these fun little slideshows...EnJoY!

Almost a month later........
WarNinG: HuGe Post - more words than pics. THis is great for me to look back on when I'm at this point to scrapbook, since I am a little behind!
Well, I have been a major slacker. I can't believe how fast summer is going bye. It feels like we're on the go all the time. I started back at DQ full time. I can't say makin' ice cream cones is my favorite but I'm sure thankful that it is there for me to earn a little extra money in the summer. Brennen is super busy with work. He has also started playing softball again. I love to watch him. He's a stud. He plays men's league on Wednesday nights and then we play co-ed on Friday nights. I know, me playing softball, a joke right? Yea, it is quite interesting. I still have cheerleader in me. The other night I was playing catcher and the batter popped a ball up - for me to catch- and I yelled until the ball fell in my glove. Then I did a little cheerleader dance - Brennen about died I think. I can't help it, that's all I know how to do :) There is something about yelling that helped that ball fall in my glove..so I'll probably keep squeeling. Anyways, we haven't been up on the mountain as much as we would like but we have got up there a little bit. Brennen's parents bought a new SwEEeT camp trailer so they have been camping a couple of times and we try to get up there when we can. Anways, on to Davin's Birthday pictures. I can't believe my little man is 1! It makes me SicK!! The party was simple just family and a few friends. We had ice cream cake- which melted and got ruined on the way home so I had to try and save it- and I made him a cupcake in an ice cream cone and he took about two bites of it and threw it on the ground. Go figure! He was so mad becuase I put him in his high chair and he wanted to get down and run around.

A little about this crazy one year old:
*He weighs 25 pounds and is 32-33 inches(I can't remember which one). He has lost about 3 pounds since he has been running around like a wild one year old.
*He now drinks whole milk. He doesn't mind it but he is kind of a picky eater. He loves yogurt, pudding, teddy grahams, and anything off the floor.
*He has mastered walking, or should I say running. He started really going about the middle of May and he hasn't stopped since! I finally got some wide shoes for his fat little feet. He couldn't-and refused-to walk in them at first but now they don't bother him.
*He is a jabber jaw!! I love it when he starts rambling on and on. He can officially say: ello(hello), ore(more), momma, dadda, amma(grandma), ampa(grandpa) go, pop, ball, ut(what), Naa Nao(he says that very clear!!) and I'm sure more that aren't coming to my mind right now. It's so cute when someone leaves or he looses something because he puts his hands out and says GO?? He can tell you what the doggy says- woof woof. Everytime he sees one he starts yelling woof woof! He is getting the hang of what the other animals say but doesn't have them mastered like the puppy. He learned how to get the dogs attention. He bends down and pats his knees.
*He is a boy through and through!!! He is going 24/7 and into everything I prefer him not to be in. He loves the toilet and toilet paper, throwing all the books on the floor, sneaking over to the garbage, ect. You name it, he's doin it.
*He is still in love with the vacuum. Seriously, it's ridiculous. The second the closet door opens he runs right there, then he follows me around and tries to grab on to the handle and push with me. Then, when I try to put it away-oh boy-he screams the second I close the closet door. Jackie and Troy bought him one for his b-day and he pushes it around but he still has a fit over the 'real' one.
*He loVes to be outside. Has a complete fit when I make him come inside.
*He loves his dad. Whenever he hears his voice he perks right up and looks all over for him.
*He loves his grandpas & grandmas. He gets so excited when he sees them and runs right to them.
*He FINALLY sleeps in his own bed. If you don't know, he has been sleeping with us for the last 4 months or so. He slept through the night when he was 8 weeks old until he started cutting teeth. Then he would cry for his plug so I would have to go in there several times in the night and I got plain lazy and just took him in our room so I could put it in his mouth. Then, he got addicted to sleeping in our bed. He would be out cold in our bed, I would pick him up-still sound asleep- and put him in his bed and he would wake right up and ScREAMM!!! However, he is a big boy and has been sleeping in his own bed and through the night for a week now. And I won't be giving in to that trick again! He now likes to be rocked to sleep and I sing to him.
*He loves the phone and pretends he is talking on it all the time. He puts it behind his head instead of his ears and it is HilarIous! One day I will capture a picture so you can see what I mean. He uses combs, bottles, and anything else to be a phone and walks around holding it on the back of his neck saying ello ello.
*Everyone still comments on his chuncky cheeks and what a big boy he is. Everyone says he'll be a great linebacker. We hope so! :)
*We spend so much time laughing at him. Brennen and I laugh so hard at him at least 2 times a day. He is so much fun! We LovE hiM To DeaTh!
