Feeding the grove bucks...

If you live in Beaver, chances are you have seen and fed 'the grove bucks'. Well, last night Brennen and I decided to go up there to see if they were out. We pulled up to them and they started to come to us but we didn't have any food so they were a little hesitant and wouldn't come 'right' to us. So we decided to get some apples and go back up tonight with Travis and Steph. There was a guy out feeding them in his yard so we stopped and asked if we could come and feed them some apples and let Davin see them. Dav is JUST LIKE his dad when it comes to deer. He can't get enough of them. He was yelling bull bull (He has always said buck but Brennen has taught him what the bull says so now he calls bucks bulls.) He wasn't scared at all and was trying to touch their noses and horns. There were quite a few deer and some really nice bucks!

Iron County Fair 2009

Brennen's family is from Parowan so Labor Day weekend is a pretty big thing for them. We have a family reunion and go to the fair. I was pretty excited because Dav could actually ride the rides this year and he loved it! The slide was by far his favorite. It was pretty big so I was a little nervous sending him down it. He went down it like 6 times - Brennen took him the first few times then Brennen's cousin and little brother took him a few more. It was so funny he laughed the whole way down and threw a lovely little fit when he was at the end. He liked the car, the boat, the slide, and the carousel but he wasn't a big fan of the ferris wheel. Here are some fun pictures that I got a little 'editing happy' with. Some of the originals probably look better than the edited ones but it was fun.





























These are just some cute pics I got of Dav with Brennen's hat. Everytime we put a hat on his head he has it off in a matter of seconds. The other day, he decided to wear it around the house so I had to get some pictures.

SuMmErTimE!!

The summer flew by sooo fast!! I am so sad it is over and I am already back in school. I am so behind in posting but here are a few fun pictures from the summer. Here are some highlights from our summer:
*Our co-ed team won the championship for the Beaver league and we also won the Championship in Milford at the Grass Stain Tournament.
*Brennen's mens league team won the championship for their league.
*Brennen played in the heat stroker tournament in St. George. They play all through the night so I left Davin(for the first time overnight :( and went down. It was alot of fun and they actually won more games than usual.
*Davin has started talking soo much!! Some of his new words are: Hoyse(horse), bas(bath), Dayn(Davin), one, waer(water), Ry Ry (uncle rylan), peeze(please), run, go, and so so many more! I love it! It is so darn cute! A few of his famous actions are: he can tell you how old he is, he can tell you the noises of alot of animals, I say mark set go and he takes off running with one arm swinging like crazy, he gets a bat and taps a ball then throws the bat and runs in a circle, he gallops all over like a horse, he drives his trucks every where making the engine noise, he blows the cutest kisses, ect. He is at such a fun (and hard) age. I wish I could freeze him doing all of these cute little things!
*Davin became ObSeSSeD with horses! The second we walk into either grandma's houses he immediately says 'hoyse' so someone will take him out back to see the horse.
*We MoVeD into a HouSe!! Super exciting! We moved from a 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex to a 5 bedroom 3 bath house! We're just renting and the house is for sale so we have no idea how long we'll be here - but with the economy we decided to chance it!
*And..I started school again. The light is getting brighter! This is my last year, I start student teaching in January then I'll graduate in May!! Thank Heavens for my mom and my mother in law who watch Dav! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I also started taking him to day care 2 days a week. He loves to play with the kids and I wanted him to be around kids his age more.

Davin got a virus that caused this HORRIBLE rash that covered his whole body for like 3 days. It was soo sad. I wish I would have taken a picture on the day it was the worst. This is actually a mild picture.
